In order to be grown (farmed) Spirulina needs warm water and nutrients. While the market is flooded with low quality products which have been produced using lot’s of energy, in the Macedonia region of Greece hot springs and long sunshine hours create optimal conditions to produce economic friendly and organic spirulina.
